The Horseshoe Bay hotel and Resort area was great and easy to get around – lots to do and very friendly. Would reccomend the sunset cruise and getting a couple of hours on the Waverunners – the lake is always at the perfect level.
Amazing experience! Place is beautiful and clean. Our view was the river and parking lot. Service was excellent. Everyone was friendly, accomodating, and professional. It was definitely an experience we would never forget!
Even though wildflower season is the prettiest time for this drive, it’s also the most crowded. If you go off-season, you can enjoy the rolling hills, majestic oaks, livestock grazing, wide open skies, and uncrowded roads in this beautiful part of the Hill Country. We recommend it any time of year.
